We had such a fun weekend! Saturday we went to the zoo in Munich (work trip with the whole family).
While we have been to that peticular zoo multible times, and while it was always fun, it was also always very, very busy. Not so much this Saturday. Rain was expected, and let’s face it, it’s almost October in Germany. So a lot of people stayed home. It didn’t end up raining after all so we were more or less alone and got to see all the animals that are usually to shy to come out. No matter how often we went, I’ve never seen the porcupine out. This time we were in luck. It was the same with several other animals.
Work paid for all the food and drinks so we ended up having an amazing lunch with homemade “Rösti” and sunny side up eggs as well as plenty of desserts.
Our plan was – due to the weather which, while not rainy, was anything but sunny – to only stay till after lunch since we went as early as 10am, but the animals were so relaxed and fun to watch that we ended up staying till closing time. That’s 8 hours of straight walking (with the exception of lunch!)! How fun!
Sunday we just spend relaxing which was much needed since next weekend – spoiler – is gonna be spend packing *Yikes!*

She also enjoys unreasonably spicy foods and is searching for a hot sauce that is spicy enough and yet still has some kind of flavor to it.
